My family and I had an excellent time and would book again with BlueBound. Christine and Sarah were absolutely wonderful, attentive, and we loved having them as hosts! Scuba was amazing and having Rocket Frog Divers as our local provider/guide was a good choice. Accommodations were excellent for us and felt very comfortable. Very grateful for the non-diver participation option as well. That being said, there is room for improvement. First, Adventure Day was different than presented at booking. Yes, this was discussed before the trip and agreed to but, again, the price was not adjusted accordingly (clearly less expensive than the original planned outing). Finally, I was overcharged when settling payment with Rocket Frog due to lack of clarity on who used nitrox tanks and who didn’t, but I didn’t realize it at the time. A bit more organization about tank usage would have helped prevent payment mix-ups. Again, overall, excellent adventure, thanks again!

Fantastic trip! I’m usually an independent traveler who speaks passable Spanish, but I’m brand new to SCUBA. I had never stayed at an all inclusive resort and had never dived in the ocean before this trip. Bluebound did an excellent job putting everything together, and I’m really glad I used Bluebound for my first diving trip. The Bluebound trip leads were friendly, available, approachable, and knowledgeable. Bluebound partnered with a great local dive operation called Rocket Frog who provided an excellent boat, captain, and dive guides. Rocket Frog took us to amazing dive sites and provided rental gear that was in great shape. The local Rocket Frog leads hosted excellent dive briefings, but one thing I really appreciated about Bluebound was the Bluebound trip leads would explain to new divers like me *why* the briefings were excellent and what to listen for on future dive trips with other operators. The Bluebound dive leads did a great job communicating with participants and coordinating requests and changes with the dive operator. Casa Conde Beachfront Resort was a fantastic destination. It was beautiful and tranquil on an amazing beach. Every meal was varied and excellent. The kitchen and restaurant staff were especially friendly and helpful. My wife came on the trip as a non-diver and had a great time relaxing at the resort’s pools, walking on the beach, or doing yoga at the resort’s gym, or scaling its amazing woven treehouse while I was diving in the mornings. Bluebound also organized a jungle tour with a guide that included a delicious lunch for our last day. The tour was fun and comfortable and fascinating. They found the best guides and the best restaurants. The Bluebound leads were constantly checking in with the participants and building community. I got to know and appreciate the other participants. I’d always feel welcome to join group at communal meals, but also felt totally fine peeling off to have private 1-on-1 meal dates with just my wife. The flexibility was amazing. I’m really glad I booked this trip with Bluebound, and I’d definitely travel with them again!

What a great trip! My 12-year-old son Skylar got his scuba certification.! Christine and Sarah, the Trip leaders, were so wonderful and attentive. I just can't thank them enough. Participated in the BlueBound trip to Costa Rica, March 2026. In short, the whole trip was well organized. Transport to and from the airport was efficient and easy. The resort was excellent, great food, comfortable clean rooms and well run, with lots of very friendly staff. Christine and Sarah kept everything running smoothly, above and in the water. The diving was well run by Rocket Frog Divers. A spacious, catamaran-style dive boat, good crew and organization accommodated all the divers without making us feel rushed or cramped. The local dive guides made for relaxed dives. The dive sites were rocky scapes with some soft corals and dives tended to follow a rock wall making for easy navigation. Lots of colourful fish, various kinds of rays and morays, white-tipped reef sharks, but also sightings of nudibranch, octopus, sea horse, Pacific green turtles, manta. The boat crew also saw a humpback, but not the divers alas. Visibility was mostly decent but not spectacular. Water temperatures were 26 - 28 C.

I had a wonderful experience and want to give special cudos to Sarah and Christine for their organization and the way that they made everyone feel welcomed. The hotel was great and the staff wonderful. The dive guides at Rocket Frog Diving were professional and good at finding interersting things to look at. I was originally disappointed with the cloudiness of the ocean and the limited corals, however, this was soon pushed aside by new discoveries. All-in-all, a very satisfying experience.
