Dive into the Nature Island’s Untamed Beauty
Welcome to Dominica, the Caribbean’s last truly wild island—untouched by mass tourism, shaped by volcanoes, and surrounded by some of the healthiest reef systems in the region. Known as the “Nature Island”, Dominica offers a diving and topside experience unlike anywhere else in the Caribbean.
With BlueBound Travel, you’ll explore this island with the support of professional guides, local conservation partners, and a carefully curated itinerary that celebrates both the underwater world and the lush jungle landscapes above.
Our home base for the week is the award-winning Jungle Bay Eco-Resort, perched in the hills above Soufrière. Villas are handcrafted from local materials, meals are organic and locally sourced, and every part of your stay is designed with wellness, sustainability, and immersion in nature in mind.
Each day brings 2-tank boat dives into Dominica’s volcanic reef system—Champagne Reef, Scotts Head Pinnacle, and Crater’s Edge, to name a few. These dives offer underwater fumaroles, steep coral walls, and encounters with turtles, rays, and reef fish in crystal-clear water with visibility often exceeding 100 feet. You’ll also enjoy a bioluminescent night dive, an unforgettable experience unique to this island.
Divers can traverse a volcanic ridge at Crater's Edge
Dominica is one of the few places in the world where you can swim with sperm whales
